Place Your Pet's Care in Our Hands.

About UsPlattsburgh Animal Hospital is a growing practice that focuses on convenience for our clients and quality care for your pets. When a pet receives proper veterinary care they have a much better chance of living a long and happy life.

The entire team always strives to remain on the cutting edge of veterinary medicine. Our veterinary hospital and clinic offers intensive care and critical care services, 24-hour nursing care, weekend appointments, full dental and surgical services, wellness exams, a full-service lab for diagnostic testing and more. Our doctors have performed more than 6,000 spay/neuter procedures.

Plattsburgh Animal Hospital is also open seven days a week.

We work with all our clients so that we understand your pet's unique health status and to develop a preventive care plan that best meets their individual needs. We strongly believe in partnering with you in the care of your pet.

A beloved pet may still develop an illness or be injured, however. Our internal medicine and surgical expertise, as well as our advanced diagnostics and veterinary laboratory, will ensure your pet receives a quick and accurate diagnosis. We will then explain the diagnosis and the various options for treatment to you. All of our doctors provide expert internal medicine services.

For your convenience, we provide free client parking in a protected lot near our facilities.

Community Service

We work very closely with the Adirondack Humane Society to promptly examine and treat all cats and dogs that are in need. We are regular sponsors of their annual Pet Walk, which is the major fundraiser for the organization.

We welcome middle and high school students in the area to visit and shadow our doctors and technicians to learn more about the practice and veterinary medicine. We also welcome conversations and demonstrations with college students who seek information for specific projects they may be working on that are related to the veterinary field.
